BBN Airlines Indonesia Triples Its Number of Aircraft

Jakarta – Since obtaining a commercial permit at the end of last August, BBN Airlines Indonesia has prepared itself to meet service demand on domestic and international routes.  Previously, BBN Airlines Indonesia had two Boeing aircraft, type B737-800 BCF, which were used for cargo services. In November, BBN Airlines Indonesia brought four Boeing aircraft, one B737-400SF aircraft and three B737-800 NG aircraft intended for passenger services.

Upon arrival in Indonesia, the four new aircraft were immediately scheduled to undergo a redelivery check at the FL Technics Indonesia hangar to be directly operated to serve several domestic and international routes.

“We have received a positive response since BBN Airlines Indonesia obtained the AOC (Air Operator Certificate) for cargo services. We have received many inquiries, and one of them is from the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to send 20 tons of materials and raw materials to support the rehabilitation of Port Vila International Airport in Vanuatu. The arrival of these four new aircraft is part of our plan to bring in 40 aircraft by the end of 2027 to meet aviation needs in Indonesia,” said Martynas Grigas, Chairman of BBN Airlines Indonesia.

BBN Airlines Indonesia will be providing many services, which some of them are cargo and passengers charters; ACMI leases, and regular flight with domestic and international routes.
